From the Founders

We founded MoveIndigo because we are deeply concerned about how unrepresentative our government has become. Many conservative elected officials are completely out of sync with national public opinion (and reality) on critical issues - reproductive rights, climate change, gun safety, Medicare, LGBTQ+, and civil rights, to name just a few. These elected Republican officials seek to maintain control  – and impose their views – through gerrymandering, voter suppression and manipulation of appointments to the Supreme Court.

But, we don’t have to settle for elected representatives who don’t represent us. 

We can reset the balance in our country right now – and doing so doesn’t depend on the politically impossible.  It only takes a few Democrats moving to crucial toss-up districts for Democrats to take control of the House

At MoveIndigo, we are connecting with Democratic movers and providing information on wonderful toss-up districts that meet all of their livability criteria AND will maximize their vote impact, helping to make our representative democracy truly representative.
